Descripción
Sumario:The research explored couples' perceptions of pornography consumption, highlighting the evaluative complexity of this phenomenon in interpersonal relationships. Despite frequent use, pornography is generally considered a practice to be avoided due to its negative social stigma, especially in romantic contexts. The study involved 181 participants of both genders, utilizing an online questionnaire and statistical analyses. The results revealed significant differences between male and female participants, such as higher overall consumption of pornography by men and distinct associations between pornography and romantic relationships. These findings align with existing literature, indicating that the use of pornography is more socially acceptable for men, reflecting behavioral differences attributed to gender in the current cultural context. Keywords: Pornography. Romantic relationships. Conjugal relationships.
