| Sumario: | This article aims to discuss the roots of homophobia and its possible relationship with misogyny, to that end it is the resumption of the past in the search for answers. In this sense, initially it questions the plausible relationship between homophobic and misogynist phenomenon with the very question of phallocentrism. This time, this work will talk about violence in the Middle Ages, or in the European historical and economic context, greatly regarding the values influenced by the Catholic Church and the notion of sin and hatred of pleasure. The question, then, that summarizes the research can be formulated as follows: what is the relationship between homophobia and misogyny in the Middle Ages, with a view phallocentrism? With regard to the research method, the article was elaborated through literature review and literature search, especially in the historical and anthropological field. |
