Resumo:This article intends to carry out an approximation of the artistic practices included in the artivism neologism (art + activism) and its possible link with the educational context during the formation of the Infant Education teachers of the University of Murcia. Being the general objective, develop the creativity of the students towards a critical and social action. For this, the methodology ‘Research based on the Arts’ is used. The artist becomes a researcher / mediator / facilitator / teacher, and artivism is an ideal tool for the educational community to express itself through contemporary artistic narratives such as installation and video art. Favored this, the acquisition of social and civic skills, by promoting critical and creative reflection in students; and the recovery of communication between art and the general public, linking art and life, by breaking traditional roles within the academic field.
