Sumario:In this work, we analyze the interaction of moving charged particles with plasmons in a semi-infinite material. For planar surfaces, and in the frame of a semiclassical dielectric formulation, we analyze the differences and similarities that arise when we compare incoming and outgoing trajectories in oblique incidence. We describe an oscillatory structure that only appears in the bulk contribution to the energy lost by an incoming projectile, and analyze how this in-out asymmetry depends of the angle of incidence.
