Descripción
Sumario:At the begining of the 1930 decade, Revista Multicolor de los Sábados, literary and cultural supplement of the newspaper Crítica directed by Jorge Luis Borges and Ulyses Petit de Murat, published translations of detective stories written by Detection Club members, which would have an important diffusion in Argentina in the next decades. We hypothesize that Critica's Supplement was the first place to establish the conditions for reception of the type of Crime Literature that Borges and part of Sur group promoted and practiced years later. The publication of these stories in "Cuento policial" section, inside a sensationalist and massive newspaper, permitted a particular adaptation of this genre in Argentina.
