Sumario:Surgical treatment of inguinal hernia has beenthe object of much controversy which is reflectedhistorically in the deve/opment of mu/tipletechnique's. In the BO's this g9ve way to twotechniques which are clearly above other !treatments according to results. Sho¿ldice'sherniorraphia and interposition of pro/ene meshare at present two techniques which arecompatible, can be performed by the samesurgical team with excellent results which aresimilar to those obtained by groups specializedin the techniques.The aim was to determine reproductabilitycapacity and resu/ts in the same group ofsurgeons. lt is the authors' belief that with verysimilar results with both techniques, the easytechnica/ development of pro/ene mesh /eavesother techniques behind
