| Sumario: | Retrospective analysis of inguinal herniationsoperated in the Police Hospital over a 17-year period. Results led to comparing herniorraphies withhernioplaties.This study shows that overall results in ourService have been good with the varioustechniques for inguinal herniorraphias, recurrencerate being 8,2%. Nonetheless, better results wereobtained with hernioplaties, recurrence rate being1,5% and morbidity being similar. |
