Sumario:This clinical case refers to a primary abscessof psoas to Klebsiella pneumoniae with evolutivemediastinal involvement, in a Diabetic female patientaged 61. There is a revision of literature. It isdifficult to make an early diagnosis given the inespecificityof clinical symptomatology. CAT scanproved to be the study with the best cost-benefitratio. Treatment is based on two pillars, antibiotictherapy and surgical drainage
