| Sumario: | The critica! revision of the literature on surgicaltreatment of hemorrhoidal pathology has as mainpurpose the analysis of clinical efficiency of recentlyintroduced technologies and hence it islirnited to that wich has been published within thelast two years.So as to avoid introducing bias into the qualitativeanalysis, only randornized and controlled seriesare taken into account.In order to facilitate evaluation of the efficiencyof each procedure, series are gropued accordingto their indication and results are comparedaccording to the new techniques. The evaluationconcludes with recommendations regarding therapywhich evolve from the evidence analyzed. |
