Descripción
Sumario:New technologies have revolutionized the world of business and services. Nonetheless, transactions carried out using or with the help of these technologies are not exempt of problems. This article addresses the way in which blockchain works, one of the technologies that, despite having an uncertain future, is already being applied. Blockchain is expected to revolutionize the way in which transactions are conducted and will have a significant impact on both the way professional services are provided and on the resolution of disputes. This work also analizes its link with arbitration, as the most appropriate method of dispute resolution for such purposes, with emphasis on practical aspects that could give rise to conflicts for which there is no regulatory framework.
