Sumario:30 dogs were operated on in order to make a comparativestudy of esophagical sutures. lt is obseved that diferenttechniques are efective for establishing continuity, but thatanastomosis varíes according to the type of sutureemployed. The fact that concepts and techniques forgastrointestinal sutures can be applied to esophagus isconfirmed and the importance of submucosa andunimpotance of mucosa is emphasized. Excellent resultswere obained with extramucous sutures and Gambeestitches.
