Description
Summary:The purpose of this paper is to analyze whether the recent judgment of the Supreme Court of Justice in Argentina is a step backwards in the progress achievedwithin the scope of the Inter - American System of Human Rights. In the ruling entitled "Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship Report sentenced in the case 'Fontevecchia and D'Amico v. Argentina "by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, issued on February 14, 2017, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation ruled that the IACHR lacks the power to revoke its judgments and, therefore, from this precedent, Its pronouncements would no longer be binding on the Argentine Supreme Court.
