Sumario:The authors present two cases of primitive tumors of thesternum which were treated by means of extensiveresections. Parietal defects which were situated in theupper third in one case and the /ower one in the other,were repaired with a "sandwich" made of Mar/ex andmethylmatacrilate with an epiploon covering. Thiscombination made possible a good anatomica/, cosmeticand functional result, with a reasonable protectionagainst infections
