| Sumario: | The objective of this research was to determine noise levels at critical points in the city of Bagua. The methodology was descriptive, gathering information in the critical points of the city (Av. Circunvalación, external market, internal market, Av. Héroes de Cenepa and Plaza Héroes de Cenepa), with the use of a digital sound level meter (Sound Meter), the data were taken in three shifts, during 6 months of 2019. The results indicate that for Circunvalación Avenue the maximum values fluctuate between 74 - 82 dB obtained in the month of January, February (daytime hours) and the minimum was 39 -53 dB recorded in the month of May and June (nighttime hours). All parameters were compared with the Environmental Quality Standards for noise (ECAs) in Residential Areas. The current results exceed 50% of the ECAs causing environmental pollution. In the external market, the maximum values were in January at night, with values of 76 dB (June daytime 84 dB) and the minimum values were 41 - 51 dB. As contrasts in the ECAs it is considered that there is an environmental noise pollution exceeding with a difference of 14 dB daytime and 16 dB nighttime. In conclusion, the problem of environmental noise pollution is generated by minor vehicles (motorcycle cabs), which are circulating a quantity of 4613 motorcycle cabs. |
