Para esta investigación, se aplicó un programa de inteligencia emocional en base a veinte actividades y se utilizó como instrumento el cuestionario para medir las dimensiones de la competencia investigativa. En cuanto a los resultados obtenidos, indican que la competencia investigativa de docentes para el grupo experimental aumento a 95% y grupo control en 23%, estos son los resultados luego de la aplicación del programa inteligencia emocional (Análisis descriptivo). Por otra parte, el análisis inferencial, se consideró la prueba de U Mann-Whitney y la de Shapiro-Wilk, grupo experimental con un estadístico de 0.960 y el grupo control con 0.936 sig. 0.01 y 0.000. Se concluye que el programa inteligencia emocional tiene efecto positivo ya que el nivel de los docentes en comparación inicial con el pos test fue notable. Es por ello se acepta la hipótesis.
