| Sumario: | After presenting the motivations, concerns and / or questions that gave rise to this work, we begin by reviewing the precedents of "marginality" in the history of nineteenthcentury capitalism. The next two sections are theoretical and rest in the reading of Marx's Capital; they also allow us to appreciate the relationship between Quijano's thinking and the German thinker. The fourth section develops a debate with some exponents of Latin American critical thinking, especially with Rita Segato, about "marginality" and the tendency to "marginalize" Marx, under the pretext of any criticism of "Marxism." The two sections that follow are very relevant for the purposes of this work, since the category of marginality is rescued and revalued (without quotes), revised by Quijano, putting it in connection with other key categories in the maturation of his thinking, such as they are the marginal pole and structural heterogeneity. Finally, in the last section, categorical mediations are reconstructed without which it would not have been possible to reach, from the praxis, the rediscovery of the Community. |
