Contó con un muestreo censal, que tomó a toda la población conformada por 25 funcionarios como parte de la muestra. La fiabilidad de los instrumentos se midió por medio del Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, el cual ubicó al cuestionario Planificación Estratégica en un nivel bueno, representado por el 0.871 ; y con un nivel excelente para el cuestionario Gestión por Resultados, representado por el 0.941 . Conforme a los resultados obtenidos, las variables Planificación Estratégica y Gestión por Resultados se desarrollan en un nivel medio, entre los valores de 64% y 56%, respectivamente. El análisis realizado a través del Coeficiente de Pearson determinó que, con un valor de r = 0,767, existe un nivel de correlación positiva considerable entre las variables; por lo tanto, existe relación significativa (p = 0,000 < 0,050) entre Planificación Estratégica y Gestión por Resultados en la Municipalidad Distrital de El Porvenir, Trujillo-2020.
