Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre el soporte social percibido y la calidad de vida en pacientes en hemodiálisis de una clínica privada de Ica durante el año 2025. Material y métodos: Estudio no experimental, transversal, cuantitativo y correlacional. La población estará conformada por 75 pacientes en hemodiálisis, utilizando muestreo no probabilístico censal. Para la recolección de datos se empleará el Medical Outcomes Study-Social Support Survey (MOS-SSS) y el Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form (KDQOL-SF-36). El análisis descriptivo incluirá frecuencias y medidas de tendencia central. Para el análisis inferencial se utilizará Kolgomorov-Smirnov para normalidad, correlación de Pearson o Spearman según distribución, y regresión lineal simple. Se considerará significativo p<0.05. Esta investigación proporcionará evidencia científica para desarrollar estrategias integrales de cuidado que fortalezcan el apoyo social y mejoren la calidad de vida de pacientes en hemodiálisis.

Patients face challenges that significantly impact their quality of life. Perceived social support has proven crucial for improving quality of life in this population.
