description El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el control interno y la gestión de abastecimiento en una municipalidad de Cusco, 2023. La investigación fue de tipo básica, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal, nivel descriptivo correlacional y se empleó el método hipotético deductivo para el contraste de la hipótesis. Se trabajó una muestra de 45 trabajadores administrativos y se aplicó el muestro aleatorio simple. Como herramienta se utilizó a un cuestionario por variable en escala de medición de Likert. Los cuestionarios que fueron validados y aprobados por un jurado de tres especialistas en el tema. Por medio de una prueba piloto, se obtuvo una fiabilidad aceptable a través del Alfa de Cronbach para los cuestionarios que se calificaron como excelente. Entre los resultados sobre el análisis inferencial, la prueba de normalidad determinó que los datos no tienen una distribución normal, por lo que usaron las técnicas estadísticas no paramétricas. Asimismo, en la prueba de hipótesis se obtuvo un p-valor=0,000 y un valor de Rho=0,786. Se concluyó que existe una relación directa y el coeficiente de correlación se encuentra en una escala positiva alta entre el control interno y la gestión de abastecimiento.
