Sumario:We present the case of a 77-year-old male patient with a diagnosis of chronic calculous cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis, with a history of situs inversus totalis. Therefore, a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with common bile duct exploration were performed, using the “french mirror technique”, with stone extraction. Patient evolved favorably. The aim of this study is to present this clinical case that is rarely reported in the world literature (only 9 cases). Its importance lies in the fact that it would be the first published clinical case report of a laparoscopic cholecystectomy and bile duct exploration with removal of the common bile duct stones in a patient with situs inversus totalis, performed in Peru.
