In relation to malignancy, we must say that most of them did not present further complications; however, a patient of 15 years metastasized quickly, dying within 3 months after the operation; in other 3 metastases they occurred after 4 years of evolution. In relation to treatment is surgical say that we will be conservative in young patients who have had no family and taking them into periodic inspection.He presentado un estudio estadístico del Pabellón N° 5, 2da. Sala, realizado en 32 años; habiendo encontrado 15,480 ginecópatas, de las cuales presentaron 1,480 tumores del ovario; de éstos, 2 presentaron tumores a la teca y 9 a tumores de las células de la granulosa. La frecuencia de tumores de ovarios ha sido de 9,2 % y la de tumores a células de la granulosa a 0,62 % y 0,13% la de los tumores de la teca. Referente a la edad, debemos decir que el 60% correspondían a la edad genital activa y el resto a la menopausia. En relación a la malignidad, debemos decir que la mayoría de ellas no presentaron complicaciones posteriores; sin embargo, una enferma de 15 años hizo metástasis rápidamente, muriendo a los 3 meses de operada; en otras 3, las metástasis se presentaron después de 4 años de evolución.
