Descrição
Resumo:It offers a series of comments, clarifications and suggestions based on the publication of the scripts that were developed to celebrate the annual commemoration of the first foundation of the city of San Miguel in Tangarará in Sullana (Peru) at a school festival. Information is provided about the main promoters of the celebration and the authors of the script and the interpretation offered by Luis Millones and Renata Mayer is questioned. Despite some inconsistencies and errors, the representation of Tangarará aims to offer a version quite adjusted to historical reality, of brief resistance and peaceful submission between Spanish rule and the original population. It aims to affirm a feeling of local pride for being the first Spanish city, as well as promoting regional autonomy based on the differential identity of the Tallanes, as opposed to the centralism of the departmental capital.
