We will present a case of an eruption cyst at the level of pieces 5.5 and 6.5 whose treatment was surgical in order to expose the crowns of the teeth. The objective of this article is to present the most relevant aspects related to this developmental alteration in order to achieve a correct diagnosis and provide an adequate treatment.Los quistes de erupción son lesiones benignas de tejido blando que aparecen en la mucosa de un diente poco antes de su erupción. Estos pueden desaparecer por sí solos, pero si duelen, sangran o se encuentran infectados pueden requerir de tratamiento quirúrgico para exponer el diente y drenar su contenido. A continuación, presentamos un caso de quiste de erupción a nivel de las piezas 5.1 y 6.2 cuyo tratamiento fue quirúrgico con el fin de exponer las coronas de las piezas dentarias.
