Descripción
Sumario:This research investigates the process of invention of Rosario as a tourist city during the last twenty years attending urban, political and cultural aspects carried out by the municipal government and the Rosario Tourist Board. For this, we analyze the tourism-heritage strategies of three elements from which the imagery of local urban tourism was configured, and which are synthesized in the figures of heritage, the coast and the boulevard, as elements that sustained policies, actions and the rhetoric oriented to invent a destination, its attractions and certain urban past that operate as identity references of the city.
