| Sumario: | It is common to hear critiques of the current educational system that fail to propose solutions; however, it is far less common to encounter profound questioning of that system accompanied by compelling alternatives. This book offers precisely that: a thoroughly critical reading of the contemporary educational system—particularly higher education—providing well-founded arguments to identify its present shortcomings and outlining viable paths forward. The author contends that, much like the business world, the prevailing model of higher education is grounded in Taylorism, which evaluates individuals according to standardized averages, thereby overlooking and nearly erasing personal individuality. Yet, when individuality is recognized and cultivated, it becomes a driving force for innovation, success, and human flourishing. |
