| Sumario: | This paper has as main objective to present some key updates in lexicographicalacademic discourse that are present in the twenty-third edition of the Diccionario de la lengua española. Through a contrastive analysis of discursive modes present in the printed edition of 2001, amendments in line for the printed edition of 2014 (in case of items for which such amendments prior to the new wording were proposed) and the final definition collected at the 23rd edition of DRAE, we establish some general guidelines of the Academy in terms of the presence of the voice of writers and editors in the lexical items that are conveyed through discursive modalization. |
