| Resumo: | The following work was carried out under the modality of Professional Practice at the Tocumen Health Center. It consisted of the application of Psychological Tests and a comprehensive approach to problems related to depression. To know in-depth, through the psychological approach, the symptoms, and causes that lead a person to suffer depression. This experience was an excellent opportunity to put into practice all the theoretical knowledge learned. To share criteria with the center's specialists, mainly with the psychologist in charge of the Mental Health Program. Thanks to this opportunity, I was able to participate and intervene in group therapies, such as relaxation therapy, behavior modification therapy, and also, individual therapies. It should be noted that this experience was an essential complement to complete my training as a Clinical Psychologist, given that each one of the professionals of the center shared with me their knowledge and way of approaching cases from their theoretical current. All the information collected has been very valuable for me, since they create the structures to provide the necessary professional knowledge as a psychologist. |
