Globalization, like all processes, has had a development that depends on the influence and knowledge of those who use it, at the beginning of the history of trade this phenomenon was not known exactly, but it would not take long to become present, because I believe that processes like many other knowledge are born as a solution to the needs of users. This article will describe how globalization has been impacting the growth of companies, but above all the effect it has had on SMEs since being small companies are not so familiar with international trade.La globalización representa una forma de avanzar para las empresas esto se debe a que pueden ofrecer sus productos o servicios en otros lugares con las facilidades que el comercio internacional les otorga, la empresa en otros países aprovecha al máximo los beneficios de la globalización y es lo que las pymes igual deben lograr, a través de un correcto proceso económico y de dirección. La globalización como todos los procesos, ha tenido un desarrollo que depende de la influencia y del conocimiento de quienes lo utilizan, al inicio de la historia del comercio este fenómeno no se conocía con exactitud, pero tampoco tardaría en hacerse presente, pues considero que los procesos como muchos otros conocimientos nacen como solución a las necesidades de los usuarios.
