| Resumo: | The experiment was carried out under laboratory conditions with the objective of evaluating the effect of sulfuric acid, boiling water and temperature on the speed and emergency percentage of Pithecellobium dulce (guamúchil), Leucaena leucocephala (huaje), and Sesbania spp (sesbania). The evaluated treatments were: immersion in sulfuric acid (90%), during 15, 30 and 45 minutes; immersion in boiling water; Heating in an oven (70 ºC and control) In guamúchil, the best percentage of emergence was obtained with sulfuric acid, in immersion of 45 and 30 minutes In huaje the best percentage of emergence was caused by immersion in sulfuric acid, during 15 minutes. In sesbania, the three sulfuric acid treatments were statistically equal to each other and different to the control, the immersion treatment in boiling water for five minutes was detrimental since there was no emergency, and finally, the heating of the seed in an oven (70ºC). ), did not have an influence on the emergence percentage of the seeds.Sulfuric acid treatments obtained the highest emergency speed in the three species evaluated. |
