Sumario:This work is a response to two critiques developed by the postcolonial and decolonial theory of Karl Marx's position on the colonial question: 1) the idea that history moves in a progressive and linear way and 2) the idea that Marx analyzes the question of the colonies from a eurocentric point of view or position; in order to demonstrate the limitations of both critics for the understanding of Marx's work on this problem.
