Description
Summary:In the following article a historical context about the new info-communication scenario occurs, and how this actually affects and changes the activity of journalist and media in the digital age. The idea is to show overall atmosphere of constant change that is experienced in the communications industry and how the definition of many concepts and roles represent a challenge and an opportunity simultaneously. Likewise, the issue of governance on the Internet, the right to information, transparency and freedom of expression is covered. The following text, rather than conclusions, intends to incite to reflection and debate on issues in which, I am sure, journalists have to dwell much in the coming years in order to understand and find strategies and solutions that lead us to adapt better to know its nature, face challenges and reap the benefits offered digitized journalism.
