Sumario:Violence against men is a phenomenon that has been presented more frequently in recent years, statistics show that more and more men are being abused by their partners. Moreover, the differentiation is a process in which the human being to be dependent both physically and emotionally from their parents, goes independent but is aware of belonging to a particular group, is loved and supported by these. Violence against the man and the process of differentiation, are connected, that is why the purpose of this research is to describe the relationship between these. To carry out the questionnaire were applied evaluation of differentiation and the scale of violence to 200 men, 100 of them students and 100 employees who did not study. Finding so there is a significant correlation in that increased differentiation, reduced violence, that is, if the male is differentiated, is less prone to the violent partner. In addition to no differences between students and non students, which means that no matter the occupation, all men may be violated.
