Descripción
Sumario:This paper is a product of the second stage of a more extended project called “Educating the Global Citizen: Globalization, educational reform and the politics of equity and inclusion in 14 countries.” The main objective of this research is to identify the elements that provide an understanding of the impact that the process of globalization has had on the reforms in the educational systems of several countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe. This paper shows and analyzes the perceptions and considerations of two specific groups of higher education teachers about their daily work, the changes in the curriculum, the evaluation of their teaching performance, the evaluation of their students’ learning, as well as the globalization, politics and reforms of the Mexican educational system.
