| Sumario: | Objective: Analyze the perception and performance of physicians hired by pharmacies in relation to the prescription of generic medicines in Villahermosa, Tabasco. Material and Method: Cross-sectional observational descriptive research. A Non-probabilistic convenience sample was performed given the characteristics of each pharmacy chain (geographical location, number of branches and doctors’ offices) with an n = 132physicians. The information was collected from July to September 2013 by applying a mixed questionnaire. The processing and analysis of the data was held with the SPSS program (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 19 with descriptive statistics and frequency tables. |
