Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this study is to analyze the participation of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) in the electoral process of 2018, in the coalition by Mexico to the Front, headed by the National Action Party (PAN), a political body of right. Hinge, opposition, did so as a party but not competitive, which was displaced from the real struggle for power. Incurred in blurring ideological and political pragmatism to integrate in this coalition, and for the first time in its history, in 2018 left to run a presidential candidate himself and left, and instead endorsed the candidacy of a PAN. This work is a study of case and today, covering a particular feature and a specific actor (the PRD as party hinge), circumscribedin a juncture, a time and a space (in the electoral process of 2018 in Mexico). Being a new and recent issue, many sources are newspapers, since there is no history of previous works which could return to this theme, except the bibliography that helped make the conceptual precisions corresponding.
