| Sumario: | After enacting the Constitutional Decree in Apatzingan, the Mexican Congress ceased to be a Constituent assembly. Neither the deputies themselves nor historians have pointed out clearly that, from October 1814, that legislature was a Constitutional Congress. This article gives an account of the main activities of the corporation until its dissolution in December 1815, a period of great importance for the Mexican insurgency, but of which there are very few documents. |
