| Sumario: | The Centro de Actualizacion del Magisterio (CAM) in the state of Chihuahua has a long history. It dates from the 1940s, when the federal government established new policies for the modernization of Education. The CAM begins as a training instance for Basic Education teachers in service. Later it becomes an instance for updating teachers. These moments were traversed by the educational policies of each era. Currently, the CAM has a Bachelor's Degree in Initial Education; It is also in charge of designing and teaching refresher courses for teachers in service and also for those who aspire to obtain a place in the Mexican Educational System. |
