Sumario:Charadrahyla taeniopus is a endemic frog species to Mexico that has been reported in the states of Hidalgo, Puebla and Veracruz, Mexico. Herein we report it from San Luis Potosí for the first time. These records represent an extension of 92 km from the closest locality in northern Hidalgo and represent the northernmost records of the species.
