Descripción
Sumario:The dental practice has evolved significantly, as medicine has outgrown the paternalistic stance, where the doctor was responsible for making decisions about the patient's health; but today he is recognized the patient as an autonomous individual, able to discern between good and bad, what's good for your health or not having the information needed to make a reasoned decision. The dentist plays an important role in meeting the informed consent, as it depends on him, positively or negatively according to the ethical quality that has influence.
