Sumario:The present text is the introduction of author and transcription of the manuscript which Fray Ignacio Muñoz prepared for Charles II and the Council of the West Indies in the response to the project sent to this authorities by don Andrés de Medina Dávila, who planned a conquest of the Solomon Islands taking advantage of vessels of the Nao de China circulating between the Philippines and New Spain, as well as the strengthening of the Catholic faith in the Mariana Islands.
