Sumario:Many of the works dedicated to Zapotec as well as typology suggest that this language possesses a dominant or neutral VSO (verb-subject-object) order. However not all are in agreement, especially because. of particular syntactic behavior and probably for dialectical reasons. This article proposes that in the Zapotec of San Pablo Güilá there is a subordinate SVO order, Which appears in the S structure.
