In the second section, we consider the limits of such a conception, noting the absence of certain fundamental variables that are nevertheless worthy of consideration in a study of the economies of the region. Indeed, the international industrial economic aspects, development economics, and the insertion into the world economy of these peripheral countries are of great importance in the finance-led accumulation regime that most Latin America countries experience and in the integration process in the Americas.
