Sumario:In the eighteenth century, the Inquisition gathered information on nuns living in the convents of Mexico, Oaxaca and Atlixco. The actions and words of these nuns were regarded as heretical by some of their colleagues, who denounced them. The Inquisition behaved extremely benevolently in these cases, reflecting the changes wrought by the Century of Enlightenment.
