Sumario:The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the nature and scope of the demand for internal democracy of political parties contemplated in the vast majority of legal systems in Latin America, as well as the variety of jurisdictional control mechanisms that they established to guarantee it, as part of the right of access to justice that is recognized for people to defend their political-electoral right of association, given the relevant role that political parties play in every democratic constitutional state of law.
