Descripción
Sumario:The activity carried out by the search engines and the lack of control over the personal information that circulates in the network has left the holders of personal data exposed to the public and constant vigilance. Therefore, in the present investigation, the objective is to demonstrate the need to create appropriate legal mechanisms to cope with the technological reality, first to guarantee the right to self-determination informatics and, second to recognize the right to digital omission in our legal system. In this context, it is concluded that the activity of the search engines constitutes a treatment of personal data, and that the right to control and suppress personal data indexed from electronic pages is configured as an ideal legal vehicle for strengthening personal protection system data in Mexico.
