Sumario:The main objective of this paper is to describe and analyze some of the factors influencing the low productivity of avocado production organizations, particularly, those located in Tétela del Volcan, State of Morelos. The essential questions for conducting this research are: What are some of the chief factors that limit or influence the increase of the efficiency of business organizations from the theoretical and empirical point of view? What is the production and efficiency rank of avocado that is registered at a global, state and community level? How do technology and human capital influence the efficiency of avocado production?
