Descripción
Sumario:The e-commerce is a necessary tool, that supports the survival of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises(MSMEs), but there are technological factors that influence its adoption. Therefore, the objective of thisresearch is to determine if the degree of use of ecommerce in the MSMEs of León, Guanajuato, Mexico (GUECMSMEs), is influenced by e-readiness of a company, e-readiness of the human capital, ICT accessibility, Connectivity and Company’s size. Thisstudy was directed to 80 entrepreneurs, with a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational and multiple regression analysis, using the Ordinary Least Squares method. The results indicate that the factors that most influence the GUECMSMEs are the technological preparation of the companies, ICT accessibility and the company’s size. Establishing thatjust over half of companies provide computers to their human capital with internet access. Considering that theMSMEs that do not use e-commerce may face imminent fragility when any crisis arises, with repercussions ontheir profits, lack of payments to their commercial partners and closure of their companies, with economicconsequences for the country. This suggest the importance for the governments to carry out technologypreparation programs for the MSMEs.
