Descripción
Sumario:In this work I study four sculptures that Florentino Trapero made for different personalities or institutions in Zamora (Spain), most of them pieces practically unknown. Although they are minor works within his sculptural production and restricted to a very specific area, most of them are of good quality. This work aims to discover the less well-known work of this Spanish sculptor and image maker, as well as advancing its study and disclosure, analyzing pieces that help us to understand better the history of Spanish sculpture in the twentieth century and the legacy of the best artists of the period. This study analyzes and identifies the pieces, as well as the context and circumstances of their production, and establishes the identity of this first-rate sculptor as their author, which in most cases had been forgotten.
