Descripción
Sumario:Using a mixed methodology, we discuss the presence of Romanians and Bulgarians in Ribera del Duero, Spain. This region, globally famous for its wines, has experienced vigorous economic growth, as well as dramatic transformations, among them a process of ethnic replacement: from a local, family driven workforce to migrant labor. We analyze the evolution of Romanian and Bulgarian immigration, both in its means of arrival and different forms of settlement and geographical distribution at a municipal scale, which reveals a certain territorial specialization by nationality.
