Sumario:Because of the need to find a stable democratic system, the relationship between the State and society has been a lasting theme of analysis in Latin America. This paper intends to identify, historically, the inner workings of people in the Labor Relations System of Venezuela, beginning with its main one: the State. It focuses on the State’s ability to control labor and trade unions under the socalled Socialism of the XXI Century. Finally, From a Neo-corporatist perspective, it will look into the politics promoted by the Executive and other public institutions.
